Subject to monumental safeguarding restrictions (pursuant to law 1089), this palace on the lake was built around 1560 in the district of Barbarano (Salò), and is classified as a building of national significance.

Over time, various interventions were carried out to solve issues relating to safeguarding and preserving the building, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, the retention of all state authorizations over the decades.
