Residence on Lake Garda: project “I Limoni del Rustichel”

Our mission was to create a residence on Lake Garda, in Toscolano Maderno (Brescia), that could meet the owner’s needs, and that could perfectly integrate into the structure of the area available. 

And it wasn’t easy! 

The planning turned out to be rather complex due to the scarce surface available, the distances that had to be kept and the client’s need to obtain a certain amount of housing units for the investment to be financial sustainable.

Despite all difficulties, we were able to come up with a creative solution involving the creation of a large underground garage serving the housing units. Additionally, we opted for a structure composed of five housing units on the ground floor with a garden, and six housing units on the first floor with balcony and a view overlooking the lake.

A residence on Lake Garda with simple architectural solutions in harmony with nature

Residence “I Limoni del Rustichel” is the perfect example of modern architecture promoting harmony between man and nature. The outdoor finishes of this residence on Lake Garda were conceived so as to be coherent with the systems in place in the neighbourhood, making sure to preserve the view overlooking the lake in the municipal street over the building.

Inside, we wanted to create a refined and comfy space, with ceramic floors with hand-made decorations in a Mediterranean style, evocative of Amalfi coast. The walls were painted with colours enhancing the floors and with small decorations on the ceiling, to add a touch of elegance and authenticity to the interior.

A satisfying result achieved by paying the utmost attention to the beauty of the surrounding area as well: we planted trees recalling local history, such as olive trees and lemon trees, to complete a one-of-a-kind project. 

The owners of the building were thus able to make a sustainable investment and create a place of great beauty, where each guest can enjoy a relaxing and calm stay, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Lake Garda. We are proud to have contributed to the creation of an architectural work of art with a unique value, symbol of the passion and dedication of our team in the field of architectural planning.
